When did St. Ingbert live: in the sixth and seventh century
Biography of St. Ingbert:
Sadly, there is not much information about St. Ingbert. According to the legend, he was a native from Ireland or Scottland. He was a monk who lived as a hermit in a hermitage near an ancient place of worship, nowadays calles "boot". From this place developed the present town of Sankt Ingbert in Germany. He died in about 650.
