Lepi nativity set

The Lepi crib is the main work of the original ©LEPI collection and radiates the magic of Christmas with an oriental breeze. The classic Christmas story, in a ruined temple in Bethlehem - not in a stable in the Alps. Columns and sand convey a sense of elegance, while a palm tree softly suggests the wind of the desert.

DYNAMICALLY UNITED
The figures themselves appear almost lifelike thanks to their solemn seriousness and palpable piety. While the three kings and their pages are resplendent in their tranquillity, the simple folk in work clothes, even with their animals, hurry to witness the birth of Christ. It is a small village in miniature, dedicated in its entirety to the special occasion. No corner is left uncovered and every nook and cranny is stylishly set in motion.

CHEERING HARMONY
Animals such as sheep, chickens and also rather unusual elephants and camels are particularly striking and cheer up the scenery. They are lively and lend the overall work a warmth that is also enhanced by the color nuances. Musicians sound their compositions into the night sky - perfect harmony reigns here.

DETAILED
The details also underline the special quality of the LEPI crib. Carpets lying under the feet of the Holy Family are a sign of luxury and hospitality that you might not have expected. But this is precisely where the charm lies: bringing the unexpected to life.
Whether for yourself or as an original gift - the LEPI nativity scene makes the Christmas story shine in new splendor. Ready for an unforgettable festive season?

PRUGGER DORIGO VIGIL
Prugger Dorigo Vigil, born in 1925, decided to attend art school in Val Gardena and become a member of the Tiberini Academy. He also graduated as a sculptor and was a member of the Artists' Circle of Ortisei. To top it all off, he was awarded several gold medals at exhibitions in important cities such as Milan and Florence.

THE LEPI STORY
In 1920, Leo Prinoth Senior founded a carving workshop in the world-famous Val Gardena, whose product range initially comprised items with specific functions, such as buttons, corks and watch cases. However, the range was soon expanded to include sacred and profane sculptures. Slowly, nativity figures became more and more relevant and ©LEPI introduced a quality assurance system and a wide-ranging production program with several variants of the respective nativity scenes, for which several artists were commissioned. Comprehensive quality controls of the materials were also introduced. Grandsons Alfred, Roland and Diego continued the family legacy until ©LEPI moved to our Demi Art collection as a prestigious brand. We at Demi Art remained true to the values and quality standards of ©LEPI and even took over the employees and the company headquarters. Today, our diverse showroom is located here, where each of our special crib creations is exhibited.
