Biography of St. Emanuel:
Blessed Emanuel of Cremona is usually identified with Emanuel of Sescalca, bishop of the city of Cremona (Italy) from 1290 to 1295. Emanuel was probably banished from the city and so he took refuge in the Cistercian Abbey of St Bernard in Adwerth, where he died on the first of October 1298. According to the reports of some monks, miracles occurred at the tomb of St. Emanuel.
