Biography of St. Felix:
Saint Felix was bishop of Trier from 386 on. During his tenure, the trial of Priscillian was held. He had been accused of heresy and witchcraft, and was sentenced to death. Saint Felix was severely criticized from important figures: He was accused of not having pled against the verdict. The Bishop of Trier was more and more isolated, which led to his resignation in the year 398. He died only one year later.
