Biography of St. Vincent Ferrer:
Vincent was born in 1357 in Spain and entered the Order of St. Dominic at a young age, where was charged with teaching philosophy. He was sent to Barcelona where he continued his scholastic duties and began preaching. In 1390, he accompanied Cardinal Pedro de Luna to France, but soon returned home. As de Luna was elected Pope, Vincent started traveling to Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy where he converted many people. His aim was the end of the Great Schism. Vincent Ferrer died in 1419.
