When did St. Adelphus live: in the seventh century
Biography of St. Adelphus:
Unfortunately, only little is known about the life of St. Adelphus. He was born in a wealthy family and had a good education before accepting the post as third benedictine abbot of the monastery of Remiremont. He was also the grandson of St. Romaricus who was his predecessor. He died in 670 in Luxeuil (France). There have been numerous miracles at his grave.
