Biography of St. Brice of Tours:
Brice grow up with Martin of Tours at Marmoutier. He had a bad attitude and was often unkind, immoral and neglected his duties. He apologized to Martin of Tours, and when he died, Brice succeeded him as bishop. Unfortunately, Brice had not really bettered himself and once again lived an immoral lifestyle. This is why he was exiled from his See. Brice travelled to Rome where he lived seven years and completely changed his personality. As he returned back to his See because the administrator had died, he was very humble and full of holiness.
Patronage: St. Brictius is patron saint of judges, of children, student and innocent defamed, against pains in the abdomen and abdominal diseases
