Biography of St. Peter:
Chosen by Christ to become the cornerstone of the Church, St. Peter, first fisherman on the Sea of Galilee, became the founder of Christian Rome. Because of his bold and outspoken, he was appointed as the spokesman of the apostles. After fighting against the capture of Jesus, St. Peter assisted, helplessly, to the episodes of the Passion of Christ. At his death, he was the one who infused courage to the other disciples. He died as a martyr, crucified upside-down under the Emperor Nero.
