Biography of St. Marius:
Marius was a doctor from Persia who went to Rome to worship the graves of the apostles and martyrs. Together with his wife Martha and his two sons Abachum and Audifax, he cared for the poor in Rome and visited imprisoned Christians. Their activities raised the awareness of Emperor Claudius Gothicus who let them capture and behead.
