BIOGRAPHY:
Saint Saturnina, according to legend, came from a noble Roman family. She converted to Christianity at a young age and was therefore targeted by the Roman authorities. As she refused to sacrifice to Roman gods, her execution was ordered.

St. Saturnina is the patron saint of agriculture, irrigation and the protection of fields.
