Realization of wooden tabernacle for a church in Sicily

Master Sculptor Karl Demetz realized, in the atelier of DEMI ART, a personalized tabernacle in linden wood for a church in Sicily.

Initially more blocks of lime wood have been glued together to obtain a single block that has been dug inside later.

On the left side has been carved a paschal lamb on the right side and a fountain of life. At the center has been carved the prophet Moses in front of a burning bush. Moving the fire, it's possible to open the tabernacle.

At last all the wood sculpture has been painted with oil paint.
