Biography of Bl. Angela of Foligno: Angela was born in 1248 in Foligno (Italy) and had numerous children. During a social event held in her city, she had a vision and entered the Franciscan Third Order. After her husband's death, she started a community of tertiaries and cared for the needy. It is said, that she had several visions. Angela died in 1309 and was buried in the church of St. Francis in Foligno, where many miracles have been reported.
